I'm also running a Coldfsuion server on my webserver.
To make Coldfusion work, a page needs to end with .cfm

To make Apache / ISPconfig also see the index.cfm Coldfusion page(s) I now need to add .cfm to DirectoryIndex (in the /etc/httpd/conf/vhost/Vhost_ispconfig.conf file)

Problem now is that as soon as I add a new site, ISPconfig removes .cfm from every DirectoryIndex again!

Is there a way of setting things so that it will always keep the .cfm?

    Thank's

    Noel
PS..What a great product is this ISPconfig!

Go to the web site settings in ISPConfig and then to the Options tab. There you can set the DirectoyIndex.

    That's what I was after :)

Is there a way of stopping ISPconfig creating the 'default' index.html file?
(one of the sites is only made in .cfm files, and as soon as I make a change in the ISP manager it creates the default index.html file for that site, as ther is not one, and not needed!)

** edit.. nevermind.. deleting all the other index / home DirectoryIndex names in the [options] stopped the 'auto' creatng index file :)
