I'm installing on FC6 and I followed the instructions and can't authenticate with any users created in the MySQL database. I receive a message "530 Authentication failed". Looking at the configuration file /etc/pure-ftpd.conf, I see that PAM authentication is enabled. Since we are using MySQL to manage our virtual users, shouldn't we uncomment MySQLConfigFile and place a # by PAMAuthentication? Looking at the documentation at pureftdp.org, do we also need to uncomment PureDB to allow Virtual Users or can this be done by using the MySQL database? Thanks in advance, chalee
