Virtual Users And Domains With Postfix, Courier And MySQL (CentOS 5.1)

    I have completed the hole how-to and here comes the problem... when i try to connect to te server (via outlook) then i get that the password is wrong but it's not.
    What's the problem? I don't see any realted errors in /var/log/maillog

    Have you attempted to check your mail via a webmail client (ie squirrelmail)?

    Also are you attempting to connect via POP or IMAP?

    I tryied POP3 in outlook.
    whit username: [email protected] and only with myuser... the both don't work.
    SquirrelMail cannot connect too: ERROR
    Unknown user or password incorrect.

    pop gave me:

    so I did that:
    su vmail
    mkdir /home/vmail/mexus.org
    mkdir /home/vmail/mexus.org/master
    mkdir /home/vmail/mexus.org/cur
    chmod 777 /home/vmail/mexus.org/cur

    Now I'm able to login to my e-mail master (at) mexus.org via pop3
    Squirrelmail cannot login: Unknown user or password incorrect.
    Error: conncetion dropped by IMAP server.

    I cannot recive e-mails:
    his is the mail system at host mexus.org.

    You must send an email first to a new account before you can fetch mails. The Maildir gets created automatically when the first email arrives.

    and... just to be clear... all login attempts to new accounts will fail until a new mail is received into the account. No user can login until the maildir is created.

    is there a way to make the maildir automaticly or a way to send an e-mail to the new users?

    is there a way to fix that:

    2) When i send mail to gmail.com for example they arrive for 1-2 sec, if i send to abv.bg it's there after 2hours? What's the problem. Before 3 mounts i ran a qmail server and it send e-mails to abv.bg as fast as to gmail and all main webmail,

    3) My ISP cannot give me an reverse dns, so i don't have ptr. What are methods to prevent my messages form beeing marked as spam.

    You could either write a script that automatically sends an email, or you do it manually with your email client.
    Does your domain have an SPF record? Also, please check if your server is blacklisted: http://www.mxtoolbox.com/blacklists.aspx

    That's bad. You can try to relay your mails through another mail server: http://www.howtoforge.com/postfix_relaying_through_another_mailserver
