Virtual Users And Domains With Postfix, Courier And MySQL (Fedora 8)

    hi all
    i had it working on my laptop lastnight

    than i reinstalled it
    due to an totaly messed up fedora i had on my laptop

    now i cant get it work at all

    i did 5 reinstalls

    and still not working

    when i telnet in and log in to my account

    (to) localhost pop3
    Trying 127.0.0.1...
    Connected to localhost.
    Escape character is '^]'.
    +OK Hello there.
    user [email protected]
    +OK Password required.
    pass 102030
    -ERR chdir zcw.homeip.net/zcworld/ failed
    Connection closed by foreign host.



    any hints

    I think the maildir is only created after the first mail is received, send your self a mail and then test

    read that

    i emailed it from my gmail account
    local

    :/

    or localy from that account

    maybe its an MX record error :/ localy

    Mail from anywhere as long as the mail gets delivered. Check the logs to confirm the delivery

    just was doing that
    seen two erros
    fix one than restart postfix

    than i had a big error
    it was trying to connect to my WAN IP
    like it was replying it out to my router

    so i just rebooted
    hoping that it will fix the problem

    gotta learn how to an an DNS flush on linux

    maybe i do an 10th try at this
    cant get it to work i will stick to ISPconfig to handle all of the mail /web

    not a lot of skin off my foot about this

    im off to bed
    its 1:30 and im dead

    i got there in the end
    i try and new DNS and BANG!
    it work lol
    so im happy now that i know i can do that howto :) thanks for the help :)
