    Hey all-

I'm encountering errors in the /var/log/maillog file referring to ClamAV:

    Code:
May 5 12:22:39 servername amavis[17820]: (17820-01) (!)ClamAV-clamd av-scanner FAILED: run_av error: Too many retries to talk to /tmp/clamd.socket (Can't connect to UNIX socket /tmp/clamd.socket: No such file or directory) at (eval 100) line 373.\n
May 5 12:22:39 servername amavis[17820]: (17820-01) (!!)WARN: all primary virus scanners failed, considering backups
I'm not sure what to make of this, as mail seems to go through and other portions of the logfile show amavis saying that the mail passed clean through. Sending/Receiving mail doesn't appear to be a problem for me although other users complain about not being able to send mail (Still troubleshooting this).

Thoughts on what to do? So far, I've edited the /etc/clamd.conf file and forced the socket to /tmp/clamd.socket as it was commented out of the config file by default and I've increased logging to verbose/debug. Nothing seems to have changed, however.

    Thanks!

Wow dumb, I thought I had already upgraded to .96, apparently not!

    Problem solved!

    Thanks again, Falko!
