Heloo, or me, it seems like when I provide --raw and --part, I always get file images created on filesystem. My logical volume is not populated. When I provide only --raw, system is installed on LV, but is not bootable.
That's strange. But you can try the procedure outlined here: http://www.howtoforge.com/virtualization-with-kvm-on-ubuntu-9.04-p4 Should work for 9.10 as well.
