Somehow the Virtual User database isn't working. This is the MX record hostname: mail Priority : 10 Mailserver: <the mailserver dns name> I created a host record mail A <ip of the mailserver> I can send mail through webmail or a e-mail client, but cannot receive anything. I get SMTP error 554 unknown RCPT TO. I then telnet to port 25 and tried sending an mail to the virtual user info@<domain>.x. I still the error 554 5.7.1 RELAY ACCESS DENIED. The e-mail address is in the virtusertable and bind to the local useraccount. I can get into webmail and send an e-mail perfectly to an external address like hotmail. When I telnet and send an email to the local user account <domain>.x_info it works. So conclusion the email address isn't bind to the local user account. So the problem is in postfix. Who knows the solution?
