I have a problem in my network .viruses have been destroying my network.I am using Squid and Sendmail running which is also generating spams.Can any one help me in this regard.How can i implement policies or any trick to remove the viruses from the network
First you need to fix your client machines, run updates install AV's. Then you need to add an AV engine to sendmail as well as Spamassassin. Check if your server is an open relay then close that, ensure you have a firewall in place and it is actually working properly. Double check your squid configuration making sure that only machines on your network can use it also close down the ports squid can connect to making sure you do not proxy port 25
