I have create a customer MISSPIGGY. I logged in her account and added a domain KERMIT.COM. Of course, that domain is hosted somewhere else since we are planning to transfert everything on my server. I just dont expect to receve any external mail until mains DNS points to my DNS server. Well, I called Miss Piggy and I configured her Outlook 2007 and got that weird POP error. Somehow, her access is denied. This is were things get messy. That logs was extract after I tried to access her mailbox using my fine squirrelmail setup. My ISPConfig3 installation is holding 2-3 domains, but that domain is the only one that have been entirely created under a customer account. Hopefully I'm mentionning that for nothing since it should have nothing to do with my problem, isn't? # ls -lR .: total 4 drwx------ 9 vmail vmail 4096 jun 16 19:16 Maildir ./Maildir: total 20 -rwxr--r-- 1 vmail vmail 47 jun 16 19:53 courierimapsubscribed drwx------ 2 vmail vmail 4096 jun 16 19:16 cur drwx------ 2 vmail vmail 4096 jun 16 19:16 new -rwxr--r-- 1 vmail vmail 23 jun 16 19:53 subscriptions drwx------ 2 vmail vmail 4096 jun 17 11:49 tmp ./Maildir/cur: total 0 ./Maildir/new: total 0 ./Maildir/tmp: total 0 Folders rights are exactly the same as of few hundreds mail account (but not on the same domains, of course). I'm Running ISPConfig3 3.0.3.1 over a Debian 5.0.8 in a multiserver setup. I've even rebooted the server, thats show how desesperate I am. The next step I guess is Voodoo... I think there's a yellow chicken over there.
of course Of course not : :0,$ s/<public company name to disguise>/<obviously replacing name>/g I would rather help for small country national dept instread of registring such a domain name...
I guess I still have'nt find the way to ask for help. I do think that I have done things properly and it failed to work. How you guys have figured how to make it work? I I have created a customer. Then a domain while beoing that customer. Then a mail account for that domain. And no good. I find it hard to beleive that I would be the only one in that situation.
