VMware and Debian HOWTO problems

    Hi,

    I just followed the vmware server on debian howto and the vmware server console I have installed on the laptop is unable to connect to the server.

    I've done a ps ax | grep for vmware and it shows it the vmware services running;

    I've verified that its set to port 902 and still no go.

    Any suggestions?

    I gave up and did the dapper drake tutorial and it worked fine. Not sure what was wrong with the debian sarge install.
