Flako has written a couple of great tutorials like the one here: http://www.howtoforge.com/how-to-install-vmware-server-2-on-an-ubuntu-8.04-desktop Does anyone know if there is a similar one here on howtoforge.com or anywhere else on installing vmware server 2 on either ubuntu 8.04 or 8.10 server. I am running a test/dev server and don't need a gui. Having said that, these install usually fail. The ubuntu forums just return howto's on the desktop as well.
