    Hello, I followed the HOW-TO for installing VMWare Server in Fedora 9, but when I get to the part of the installation where it asks:
    "What is the location of the directory of C header files that match your running kernel? [/usr/src/linux/include]"
    I get this error:
    "The path "/usr/src/linux/include" is not an existing directory."

    Here is whats loaded on my machine

    kernel-headers-2.6.25.6-55.fc9.i386
    arm-gp2x-linux-kernel-headers-2.6.12.0-2.fc8.noarch
    kerneloops-0.10-11.fc9.i386
    yum-kernel-module-1.1.14-4.fc9.noarch
    kernel-2.6.25.4-30.fc9.i686
    kernel-2.6.25.6-55.fc9.i686
    kernel-devel-2.6.25-14.fc9.i686

    Please help. Thanks.

    yum install gcc gcc-c++ kernel-devel

    this will get you past that part of the install. it also helps to add the above when you want to install vmware-tools in a fedora 8 or 9 guest OS
