I set up a virtual server using VMWare and everything is great, except I made the hard drive way too small. If I change it in the VMWare control panel, what else do I need to do? Please tell me I don't have to re-install everything. That would make me sad.

vmware can load virtual machines from any directory of your harddrive or a second harddrive. Just copy the vm's to the new location, then open them in vmware and start them.

The physical drive has plenty of space. When I set up the virtual server I didn't assign it enough space... Then I did the perfect set up and got everything working with only a few gb to spare.

I guess I'd add a second (bigger) virtual drive to your VM, copy everything from the first drive to the second one (e.g. with dd) and remove the first one.
