vsftpd with mysql

Hello,
I tried to config a vsftpd with mysql to use virtual accounts (ubuntu 9.04). Used the only one(!) howto here:

I copied all the steps.

Everybody was happy on that forum, because it works.

Doesn't do at me.

When I try to login as testuser, get a message:
"530 login incorrect.
Login failed."

Nowhere found any help.

May I get one here?

 

Any errors in your log files?

Did you try both active and passive transfers in your FTP client?
