Please post the error messages that you got on the shell. The log does not contain the errors that caused the setup to stop.

Please post the error messages before the line "./setup2: line 873: ispconfig_tmp/php/bin/php: No such file or directory" The relevant error is the first one. Please make sure that you installed all pacakges as described in the perfect setup guide for your linux distribution.

But i think 15 GB should be enough. I think the 160MB (+160Boost) RAM ist not enough.
Your system has 8GB of RAM, that's plenty... Which ISPConfig version are you trying to install? Which distribution are you using?
Its a vServer with 160MB RAM for my machine, think 8GB is for the hole machine. OS is Debian 4.0 ISPConfig is Version 2.2.21
The problem is most likely that you dont have enough ram and that your vserver is not allowed to have additional swap space. Its worth a try to free some ram before you try to install ISPConfig. Stop the services that are not nescessary during installation: apache, bind, postfix, courier (all courier daemons: pop3, pop3s, imap, imaps and the auth daemon) or dovecot, proftpd or vsftpd and then try to install ispconfig again.

I GOT IT. I unpacked ISPConfig and then i unpacked php in the compile_aps folder. Uncommented the "tar xvzf php.." in the compile-file and removte the "-O2" tags in the Makefile from php. YEAH Thank Till and Falko now i had to learn how to use ispconfig.
