Everything else works great, I looked for help in forums, but can't find it, so now I post.. :)

Web-FTP when I log in with web[id]_user, the page displays..

    The following error occurred:
    Could not connect to localhost
    Next >>

    netstat -tap is shown below
(because I think thats what is going to be asked next)

I can login with WS_FTP (Web[ID]_), so I suspect its a configuration problem .... but where?

not sure if its this.... (when restarting proftpd, its only a warning)

.. - warning: "ProFTPD" address/port (192.168.1.100:21) already in use by "sharprez"

    Very good resource! HowToForge.com!

I found the answer.. kept looking in the forums.....

    Here it is!

    Add:

    DefaultAddress 127.0.0.1

    To:

    /etc/proftpd_ispconfig.conf

    Thanks to FALCO! (of course!)

Worked great, when back to restart the service... FTP was already Online! (and working!)

    Great stuff!

    :)

Any clue as to what I might have done wrong in the Install?

Why does my .conf change keep disappearing?

    Then I asks myself....

Why does my .conf change keep disappearing?

Because you need to change it here...

    /root/ispconfig/isp/conf/proftpd_ispconfig.conf.master

I put it right here... and it worked for me. :)

    ###################################
    DefaultAddress 127.0.0.1
<!-- BEGIN DYNAMIC BLOCK: vhost -->

Thanks again to falco for the info!

    Good to know...

It is good to know it wasn't me! LOL

Blame is easier to give than receive!

Thanks again FALCO! I hope this post helps someone else!
