I allways get this error : FTP: Failed to write Array/.htaccess When trying to upload a file. In the log I have this message: Dec 14 23:32:32 griseu6 vsftpd: Thu Dec 14 23:32:32 2006 [pid 28869] [web2_jf] FTP command: Client "127.0.0.1", "STOR /web/global.css" Dec 14 23:32:32 griseu6 vsftpd: Thu Dec 14 23:32:32 2006 [pid 28869] [web2_jf] FTP response: Client "127.0.0.1", "553 Could not create file." I can login and upload files to the server. I'm using vsftp. Is this because I miss any configuration on the ISPconfig?
I didn't saw any solution in the link you post. I can ftp and upload files from a ftp client. With Web-ftp allawys have the same error. Also I cannot create folders. Any idea?
I have tried with fire fox2 and now with ie v6 but still the same error: The following error occurred: FTP: Failed to write Array/.htaccess any more ideas?
I have created a new client and site, but still the same error when I try to upload a file. Any more ideas? I'm using vsftp. Should I changed it to proftp?
I'm using version 2.2.8. Should I first install the new version (2.2.9)? can it make the diference? is it simple to update from 2.2.8 to 2.2.9? Do I need first uninstall 2.2.8? Do I loose any data?
The FTP module has not changed, so I do not expect any difference. Yes. download and unpack the installer and run the setup script. It detects your installation and upgrades it. Normally you wont loose any data, but its better to make a backup of /root/ispconfig, home/ispconfig and the ISPConfig mysql database before you update.
