I'm fairly new to Linux world and this is my first system install. I've managed to setup Debian Lenny and ISPConfig 3 without any problems thanks to the excellent tutorials from HowtoForge, at least until now.

I've just finished to add three websites using Wordpress into my ISPConfig server, and I've noticed they're running quite sluggish from time to time. When I check the web server status using the Monitor -> Show overview menu option, I found the web server is offline. Some minutes later, it's online again and keep going offline and online permanently.

When ISPConfig says the web server is offline, I can browse the installed sites but very, very slowly.

In order to optimize the system, I've installed eAccelerator and upgraded all Wordpress to the latest version but the online/offline problem keeps driving me nuts. Any suggestions?

Please run the commands and post the output of:

    uptime

    and:

    netstat -tap

    when the websites are slow.
