Hi Guys, I have recently installed Ubuntu 10.04 with the perfect server setup tutorial. I had a problem with quota when following the instructions but everything else including Ispconfig 3 installed ok. My three domains seem to be up and running and pointing to the correct directories etc so I decided to try and install Awstats and Webalizer. After following various tutorials on both stats programs Webalizer seems to be working. When trying to access www.izabay.co.uk/stats I get a password box but no username / password combination I would of used work, I always get the ERROR 401 UNATHOURIZED box. I can access stats locally from Code: file:///var/www/webalizer/index.html so it seems to be generating something. I have searched for a .htaccess file as I thought this must be what is causing the problem but I can't find one. Can anyone please assist me in finding, removing or resetting the access. Thanks for any help given.. Rob. Edit: I have just noticed if I go to www.iza-games.co.uk/stats and www.lookylooky.co.uk/stats I get the password box but i get ERROR 500 internal server error.
Hi Falko, Thank you for your reply. Since writing this post I decided it was probably best to delete all signs of previous installs and start fresh.During deleting of the folders I found a .htaccess file for each domain that was hidden. Pointing my browser at www.izabay.co.uk/stats now shows a ERROR 404. I have now tried installing Webalizer again , to the point that I can see stats locally from Code: http://server.izabay.co.uk/webalizer/usage_201006.html But I get a Error 404 when trying from Code: http://www.izabay.co.uk/webalizer/usage_201006.html I think this is my fault as I entered server.izabay.co.uk in the network settings box when following your perfect server tutorial. Do you have any thoughts as how I could fix this fault? Thanks again for your time Rob
