webdav - set up basics

Hello,

I am starting to discover different tools with in ISPConfig. I have lots to learn and discover
It I create a user account for webdav, there should be a "webdav" folder created in that domains folder, right? Like this:
website.com/webdav/folder
Then, when I go and add this to my email program, I will enter the username I chose, and the password, and use the above noted url to reach it, right?

I ask, because I created a user, and th webdav folder did not show up inthe domains folder.

Well, Taleman, thanks for replying.

The reason that I asked the question, is because the only reference to webdav is to explain how to fill out each field, and how to set the number of webdav users per client. I needed input from others with maybe more knowledge beyond that found in the manual.

My question pertained to what might have happened in my case, where the webdav folder did not appear.
I tried it on 2 different websites with the same result of a missing webdav folder.

The webdav folder is supposed to appear in the main directory of the domain, from what I understand.

OK, thanks!

I have seen that before, but it never "clicked" as to this being for webdav becuase I did not know what it was befre;-)

I will have a second try and see what happens. I'll come back with comments/questions after testing.
