Hello I was just wondering how these webhosting companies do this. Can anyone explain me.... We see packages of 100 MB and 10 GB BW. How this space of 100 MB allocated for a particular user in linux. Where is the files stored. How is the particular directory alone viewable for the user. Regards
That is done using file system quota's and the users files are stored in the home directory and the web server is configured to serve the pages from that document root
