Hi there... Just followed the great howto, and worked out fine Now i am about to write a php based webinterface, but before i commence the work. I would hear if any of you already had done the work? // Kind regards.
Ok, i have now written some more or less useable code... http://xanchez.dk/postfix-admin.tar.gz No fancy design, but it does the work
just wanted to say thanks, you know with a bit of work, it could be adapted to do so much more a bit like the way vmail.admin works. problem with it is that it uses a different db structures etc etc so cant be used with this guide. are you interested in possibly developing this further? add more functionality, autoresponders, amavis controlled config options, whitelisting/blacklisting, users areas so that user can control mail forwards etc etc?? isp config is good but if you only want to run a mail server, its awful bloat just to get a mail frontend.
I won't promise anything, but i shure will look into it. ;o) If anyone else feels to mangle in, you're welcome
Thats all already available in the iSPConfig 3 SVN repository incl. Theming, Spamfilter etc. ISPConfig 3 is modular so you can use each module for example DNS, email, web independantly. svn://svn.ispconfig.org/ispconfig3/trunk/
That depends on which part you mean. The DNS-Manager part has already been relesed (www.mydnsconfig.org). The Mail interface will be released as standalone app in about 1 - 2 months. That depends mostly on the fact when i or anyone else has the time to finish the last outstanding parts like transports and adapt the postfix main.cf for the table layout used in ISPConfig 3. My current test installation is based on exim as postfix does not has sql based maildir quotas without useing third party applications. The complete ISPConfig 3 package might be released in about 6 months.
