Hello, I installed ISPConfig 3.0.1.3 a few weeks ago and I'm just starting to test it. I have a problem with my websites. I can't access the web pages apart from index.html. I tried several websites, changed the web pages authorizations to 777 without success. Here is what I get when I want to access a page : Not Found The requested URL /documentation.htm was not found on this server. Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request. I'm running OpenSuse 11.1. Any idea what can cause this ? Thanks in advance, p.a
Make sure that you access the correct site. OpenSuSE is there sometimes a bit picky, i´f it dont work with *, select the IP address instead.
Thanks for the reply. I checked the website again. I can only see the home page "Welcome...". So it doesn't seem to work with *. I don't know if it's normal but * was my only choice. To test with the IP I had to go to edit server IP and add my server IP. Then I recreated a site, selected the IP, but without better result. To test I also checked the network configuration in Server config but I don't think it will change anything since it is just the same as the network parameters I had already set via yast. Other advices ? p.a
Everything works, you may say so if you want... But frankly, as long as I can't upload files on the website and have access to them on my web browser, it may work but for what ? Not Found The requested URL /test.html was not found on this server. Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request. And believe me, I have not spent only a few minutes on the server installation/configuration. I thought it would be less painful since I could make it with ISPConfig v2. So, just testing and asking...
Following yesterdays modification a reboot and maybe a night of calm, now everything works. I can access the pages from all the sites I created even for those with *. Patience and perseverance brings its reward. Thanks. p.a
