FastCgiExternalServer /var/www/clients/client29/web99/cgi-bin/php5-fcgi-ip-80-domain.com -idle-timeout 1500 -host 127.0.0.1:9108 -pass-header Authorization What would you recommend? Info: Centos 7 fully updated Ispconfig: Latest stable Server: Apache Engine php-fpm 7.1.1
I believe the issue had to do with php 7.1.1 that had many issues ... updating to php 7.1.2 normalized the situation.
Finally found the issue, it is a bug in apache 2.4.6 (curently Centos 7 has it as latest stable) https://bz.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=54973
