What is the difference between the two? Why would I want to use one versus the other? Sorry if it's obvious - but I did not see any comparison on the website - and I didn't find a thread in the forum - and they both look like they are being actively developed. Thanks, Synlap
- ISPConfig 3 uses a virtual user setup for ftp and email while ispconfig 2 uses a old sytle system user setup. - ISPConfig 3 supports multiple servers while ispconfig 2 just supports single server setups. - ISPConfig 3 is newer, more flexible in its configuration options and has a extensive plugin and module system for the server and interface part.
