    Hey ya'll,

Unfortunately I have to downgrade from my static IP plan from my ISP to a dynamic one. What changes will I have to make to ISPConfig(2)?

    Thanks

Is your server behind a router, or is it connected directly to the Internet?

It's behind a router, however I know in the configuration I have set that static IP.

As the local IP doesn't change, you don't have to change anything in ISPConfig. All you have to do is make sure that all DNS records point to your router's IP.

Well unforunately I don't have it set up as a NAT, so the servers just using the Public IP. Should I just change it to the local one once I have switched the service?

then you very likely need to relay the outgoing email through your ISP. Most mailservers do not accept mails from dynamic ips.

Good point. I actually had a dynamic setup working pretty well before I went to static IP. I totally forgot about that though.
