Hello Just asking the developer to ISPConfig, when will this system to protect our dns? http://www.howtoforge.com/configuring-dnssec-on-bind9-9.7.3-on-debian-squeeze-ubuntu-11.10 On, ISPConfig 3 thank you MM
When you like to see dnssec in ispconfig, then please make a feature request in the ispconfig bugtracker http://bugtracker.ispconfig.org. When the feature gets enough votes, then it will be added to the roadmap.
I don't get it why ISPConfig doesn't support DNSSEC, it's now over 3 years. This reminds me of IPv6, delaying it till it has to be rushed in.
Yes, ISPConfig 3.1 supports DNSSEC, see release notes: http://www.ispconfig.org/blog/ispconfig-3-1-released/ DNSSEC can be used on non mirrored servers only. Support for mirrored setups will be available in ISPConfig 3.2.
That's not a problem and Multiserver without mirroring is fine as well (you can use the dns slave records in ispconfig for the secondary dns then).
But running the ISPConfig multiserver, you mirror the 2nd DNS server... right? :O Where do you setup the slave records @till are you talking about 4.8.3.1 Secondary Zone? (from the manual)
