I'm using ISPConfig 2 for a while and setup a testing server with ISPConfig to get used to it. Maybe I'm looking for something that isn't there anymore but how do I setup resellers, clients, users? thanks.
Resellers and clients are in the client module. A reseller is just a client that has clients. First click on the module name in the upper menu, then click on the menu item of that type that you want to add in the left menu and then click on the new button.
I made a huge mistake. After cleaning up there's no admin account anymore. I can access the dB with Webmin but have no idea how to fix this. Any hint?
[fixed] After some searching in the source I found that I had to add 'admin' in the sys_user table. Not sure if everything will work like it should.
Didn't fixed my problem: Error error_no_view_permission I hope to hear some advice on this one before I have to do a new install from scratch.
Delete the user you inserted, then Download ispconfig 3.0.1.1 tar.gz, unpack it, open the sql file in the install_ispconfig/install/sql/ directory and search for the line that inserts the admin user into the sys_user table. then execute this sql insert statement in your database.
