Which firewall ispconfig is using? I am running postfix from 25 and 2525 ports. Do I need to add 2525 in iptables? Richard
Ispconfig uses the Bastille firewall, which is a firewall script based on iptables. Add port 2525 in the list of tcp ports in the firewall settings in ispconfig.
Till, Thank you for quick response. In ISPConfig, Firewall section. I do not see any exisiting rules. Also I added 2525 in master.cf and reloaded postfix. And clients can access 2525 without any setting in firewall. Does that mean I do not have my firewall active? I do not remember what I did while installing ISPConfig. --------------------------------------------------- [root@mailhost log]# iptables -L Chain INPUT (policy ACCEPT) target prot opt source destination Chain FORWARD (policy ACCEPT) target prot opt source destination Chain OUTPUT (policy ACCEPT) target prot opt source destination
Till, How can I activate the firewall now and open ports required by ISPConfig, Postfix, FTP, HTTP and other services? Please let me know. Richard+
In ISPConfig, go to system > firewall, click on "add firewall record" check that all nescessary ports are listed and click on save.
