Due to many other problems I reinstalled SuSE and also ISPConfig. What is a good advise for a domain name to enter in ISPConfig? (in other words: what do I have to define to create for URL: http(s)://xyz.com:81) In my previous installation I gave a domain name which is equal to one of my websites, but I am not sure if this is correct. I always recommend to buy a domain name that you only use for technical purposes, i.e., you don't use it for web sites, email, etc. With that trchnical domain, you can create subdomains like for example server1.technicaldomain.com that you can use as hostname and for ISPConfig. That's the way I do it, and it works great!
