Which wifi adapter works with Ubuntu 8.04 out of the box?

    I have a machine with ubuntu 8.04 and I'm looking for a compatible, work-out-of-the-box wireless 802.11x adapter. I don't want to have to use ndiswrapper or any other driver simulating application. Just the adapter and the driver. Is this available? what brand and model?
