I'm sure this has been asked before several times, but I'd like to know opinions on which version of Linux is the best one to use for ISPCONFIG. I have my server setup on Fedora Core 7 and it works fine, but seems slow. I realize that certain things may need tweaking but I'd still like opinions as I am going to setup another server to take this one's place and want to have the fastest OS I can get. It will be used Strictly for Internet Apps, IE: E-Mail, Web, FTP, Shopping Cart, and MySQL Databases. Runnig on an INtel P4 3.00 Ghz Dual Core CPU with 4 Gig of ram, 250 Meg SATA Drives Mirrored via Mother Board Raid controller.

    Thanks for your time....

I recommend that you use Debian.

I started with the Mandriva 2007 spring perfect installation since all my other servers are running Mandriva.

There where a few problems I posted around here. No autorespond, spamassassin didn't work.

Now I'm using Debian. No problems so far.
