Hello. I use from many years cpanel with litespeed server.. and using ispconfig after used it years ago.. why don't automatize the php installtion of new versions... ?
The autoinstaller does that. I have no idea if that function would ever move to the installer instead, but I suppose it would be possible.
I think that to be really functionally, it have to include automatically all new PHP versions and the oldest from 5.6 Where the user can choose it for each website. I have used ispconfig for many years, but after some time I was obligated to switch to a managed service like cpanel for this reasons. I install a lot of WordPress/joomla websites with the PHP X, after some months I will have some sites with components needing 7.7 and someone remaining to 7.2 or oldest with 5.6. All this in Ispconfig it's possible only by a system admin that install, configure and test multiple PHP setup. All this in cpanel is the basic setup allowing the webmasters can works really easy. Ispconfig have all and is a wonderful platform, why don't include this kind of commodities like the big commercials platforms?
Also with the possibility to set for each selected PHP versions the modules to enable for singles websites. Why not create all this the default installation setup?? ISPConfig is free and therefore we can not include every single thing that would be nice to have - the devs have to work on it in "extra" time beside paid jobs. We are working hard to implement new features, as you can see in the huge 3.2 release. You can open a feature request at https://git.ispconfig.org/ispconfig/ispconfig3/-/issues
No Sir. I'm not talking about the free or not free. Ispconfig is a powerful software, but the market make a lot of differences about this kind of configurations for productions websites. I simply think that this kind of option make the real difference.

Hi. I'm using a "perfect ispconfig setup" downloaded as member time ago, debian buster version. It's not clear what mean for : Because other packages as openssl are updated too, the installed packages from sury.org can not simply removed after installation. You first have to downgrade this packages to the Debian versions before you are able to remove the PHP packages without breaking other packages. No. The chapter you cited is about removing all additional PHP versions, and not about installing them.
ok Thank you. Therefore I can follow the guide without the related info for removing php versions. Anyway, I think that ispconfig will absolutely include as default the multi php manager! Thank you.
