Solved it my self. Wierddddd.... For some reason when I login as a webmail user I use the fqdn like [email protected] as a login username. But if I want to use Thunderbird as a mail client I have to use only the "user" without the domain.com part. Can someone explain this to me? Sam
The webmail client is able to lookup the real username, thats why it works with the email address. Your normal mailclient can not do this, thats why it has to use the username and not the email address for logging in.
