I made a how-to, and I have to write the HTML code. HTML is no problem for me, I know HTML. But the wiki-syntax used for example on Wikipedia, is much more quicker, cleaner, and easier to code.
I think most people are more familiar with HTML than with the Wiki syntax (including me). I write all my tutorials in Dreamweaver, and when they are finished I simply copy them over to HowtoForge's WYSIWYG editor.
I write all code by hand on the HowtoForge website. WYSYWIG editors creep me out, and they generate crappy code.
i did all of mine in frontpage beacuse thats what i have installed due to its just tell it to load the .CSS file and type change the headers / what else the .CSS control post over to submit forum n click wiki code is hard if your new to it i find its hard even i got a wiki i use inside my network but i cant do any good coding in it PS Dreamweaver any good is it falko
