Witch OS (UNIX based) is the best for webserver/ispconfig3?

    Hi all,

    I Use linux based CentOS distribution now for my production server but i wanna know witch OS is better, the best for webserver usage?

    I think Redhat or suse? Or debian is also a good choice i think..

    I asked Till the same question, and he responded that ISPConfig 3.0 runs best on Debian.

    I think that debian is also the most supported system for ISPconfig 3 isn't it?

    It's a matter of a distribution being supported by software that runs on it.
    Generally I'd stick to the main distributions like Debian,SuSE,CentOS etc.
    They're all great for use as a webserver.
    Finally I'd recommend Debian because of lots of advantages it has.
    I'm using CentOS now on one of the production machines and it annoys me because it lacks some important packages in it's repositories.
    Debian wins on this ground.
