Hi I have a running Mediawiki installation in sub-domain "wiki.domain.tld" And now I've added an installation of Wordpress MU to "domain.tld" And in order to get the user blog adresses to work as sub-domains I've added (according to this forum) "*" in the co-domain section of domain.tld. This conflicts with the wiki.domain.tld entry. Which now have stopped working and are now redirected to the WP MU. How to handle the "wiki" subdomain vs the "*" co-domains in ISPConfig?
Instead of adding the wordpress subdomains with a wildcard "*", add them all one by one as co-domain like first.domain.tld, second.domain.tld etc.
Thanks for your answer till! Yes, that is possible to do the way you propose. How ever there is a big downside to it (or maybe I am missing something). The creation of new blogs will then be manual instead of automated. Eg, user registers the new blog "till.domain.tld". Then without the wild card solution I (or the admin) will have to go to ISPConfig and manually add "till" in the co-domains. Is there a work around for this?
