I followed the perfect setup for Ubuntu 6.06 and installed ISPconfig until I get to the part where it asked for host and domain name. I put www, then my domain name, but it keeps saying that it cant connect. Thoughts, Ty
You must use an FQDN that points to your IP address because the installer pings that FQDN, and if the ping fails, the installation stops. If you use an FQDN that doesn't exist yet, but you plan to create it in the near future, you can add the FQDN to /etc/hosts for now, then the ping should succeed.
