hi there, yum update seems not to work anymore. The last entry in yum.log is: Code: Apr 01 08:26:18 Updated: openssl-devel-0.9.8e-12.el5_4.6.x86_64 So it seems there has been no updates installed since Apr 1. Invoking yum manually does not show an error message: Code: [root@server log]# yum update Loaded plugins: fastestmirror Loading mirror speeds from cached hostfile * addons: ftp.plusline.de * base: centos.intergenia.de * extras: ftp.plusline.de * updates: ftp.plusline.de Excluding Packages in global exclude list Finished Setting up Update Process No Packages marked for Update So there seems to be something wrong in the (repo?) configuration. My yum.conf: Code: [main] cachedir=/var/cache/yum keepcache=0 debuglevel=2 logfile=/var/log/yum.log distroverpkg=redhat-release tolerant=1 exactarch=1 obsoletes=1 gpgcheck=1 plugins=1 exclude=postfix* # Note: yum-RHN-plugin doesn't honor this. metadata_expire=1h installonly_limit = 5 # PUT YOUR REPOS HERE OR IN separate files named file.repo # in /etc/yum.repos.d My yum.repos.d: Code: [root@server yum.repos.d]# ll insgesamt 12 -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 2245 1. Why are there "No Packages marked for Update"? Thanks in advance.
Unless someone had updated a package in the repos, there won't be any updates. Do you know of any updates packages that have been picked up?
