I'm on Fedora 10. It has been several weeks now. I and the output of yum update is: "No Packages marked for Updated" I have already checked /etc/yum.repos.d/ and my fedora and fedora update repos are set to enabled=1 This is a dedicated server that I have updated frequently. I have not installed RPM fusion, I have not enabled rawhide, and I have not used any of the testing repos - ever. I also ran: yum clean all ... etc and there are no errors. I can install new packages.
RE: Fedora 10 End of Life Notice Thanks Falko ... That is what I thought might be the case. Do you have any experience with yum updates of the OS? It is still not recommended, but I want to minimize the downtime when I do migrate to the new stable version. I have some packages that I complied from source and I know some things will get broken. This is always a big task. I will say, however, with the newer releases of Linux it seems to be getting easier every time.
