Hello, I have a primary DNS using ISPConfig and would like to use EditDNS as my backup. When I enter the backup DNS information on EditDNS site, it says "AXFR Status: This domain does not accept AXFR transfer requests" I have put EditDNS name server as the secondary DNS on my domain in ISPConfig as well as on my registrar. Is there anything that has to be modified in named config for it to allow xfer requests? Thanks
Please edit the named.conf master template in /root/ispconfig/isp/conf to allow zone transfers to your secondary server.
Seems that I just had to give some time to the backup DNS server to refresh. Didn't need to change the template. Thanks anyway.
