It appears that Microsoft has deprecated the current password-protected scheme to authenticate legitimate emails. As a result, any email sent through the ISPConfig server by a user, to one of Microsoft email addresses (outlook.com, hotmail.com, live.com etc.) suffers a rejection with code 550 5.7.1 with (I am told) a misleading message about the sending IP address being on their blocklist.

From articles available on the net, it appears that postfix must be enhanced to use Oauth2...

so i'm actually on my way to get ispconfig running and moving everything to it from my old CLI based system. So actually i want to import some tiny databases and tried to access phpmyadmin - but unfortunately i'm getting a 502 bad gateway.

Hi, all:

I''m trying to add a second admin account to go with the "Admin" account/role, and I can't figure it out.

I have the password for "admin" changed, so I should retain access.

I've tried every combination (I think) of checkboxes and radio buttons under System > CP Users, and under System > "Remote users". I'm accessing it from behind my router at the moment, but I'd ALSO like to be able to access it from the Internet as well.

Good choice for a FAQ for the manual.

Thought I had all the prerequisites but missing "rsync" on the old ISPCONFIG especially since "rsync" is part of ISPCONFIG 3.2.7p1 in the gui. However there is no command line rsync. I have been battling this for days now and not being able to get this package with any of the command line tools and is killing me. Apparently they moved this or closed the archives and I am stumped what to do. Can anyone help? I need to get this new server migrated and online and the time it has take to try...

Hey everyone,
I’ve noticed that certain emojis don’t render properly on my Linux system, instead, I just get blank boxes or question marks. It’s especially annoying when viewing logs or Git commit messages that include emojis.

I’ve already installed noto-color-emoji and tried updating font configs, but the problem still shows up in terminal apps like tmux or vim.

Any postfix/altermime experts out there? I've got altermime installed on my postfix server and have it setting a disclaimer on all emails. Its working great except I cant figure out a way to only apply it to externally sent emails. Basically I want the disclaimer to be applied to all emails except the ones that go to example.com domain. Is there a way to do that? Appreciate any insight...

I am a student currently enrolled in a Linux course and ran into an issue for one of my assignments. We were given a .ova file to run on virtualBox and I could not get the .ova file to work on my M1 MacBook Air. I kept getting the error that the .ova file was for x86 architecture and that my Mac is arm based. Is there a way to translate it from x86 to an arm based .ova file?

ISPConfig Letsencrypt SSL certificate not working from admin webinterface

I am running ISPConfig Version: 3.3.0p2 on top of a Ubuntu linux. And setting up a website with letsencrypt was not a issue before. I want to setup a new site and now it has become an issue:
- I can check the boxes and press the save button
- I see that it is working
- But there's no result at all, both checkboxes are clear and my server is not responding the way I like it to respond

Is there anybody who has any clue ? and can help me out with this

I have a catchall account with users created locally in an application called 602 LAN Suite on a Windows box. I have plans to port this to a Linux box, so your How-to comes in very handy.

So, how would I configure fetchmail to deliver emails from a catchall account to individual user mailboxes locally?

in case of problems with my nextcloud instance under ispconfig and the recomodations not to run nextcloud under ispconfig I think I install Docker an put Nextcloud in docker. But Docker and Ispconfig uses 8080 as WEB Port. What do you recomand how to solve this?

I need to add a CAA record in my ISPConfig setup to a DNS zone for a Shopify shop. This requires me to add a CAA record for the Certification Authority ssl.com . This authority is not incorparated in the available list of Certification Authorities when creating the record. How do I add such a CAA record?

I have to change hosts and wanted to rebuild the latest Debian, NGINX ipsconfig perfect server. It appears that the tutorials are over are over a year old, now use auto an auto installer. The tutorial I found appears to support Apache and not NGINX.
