Okay, now I am considering to run a small Cluster (a group of 2 or 3 VPS) for my coming postgresql servers.

With reference to today's hardware price, I need to squeeze my cost to the lowest. So, I consider to buy several VPS built on OpenVZ. I heard that OpenVZ VPS is cheaper and faster than KVM VPS.

Now, my questions are:

Can I choose Ubuntu as the OpenVZ VPS's OS?
Can I install Docker inside this OpenVZ VPS?

1. How (If possibile) use interactive installer to be able to choose what to install (ie. I use pdns not bind). It was possibile in older versions

I have to get an IP Adresse.
Server seems to work, but I get this error :

Should I move to systemd, especily on ispconfig managed servers that are upgraded from Debian 8 to 9 to 10 to 11 to 12 and in the future to13 ?

I have an ISPConfig installation running version 3.2.12p1, but when I try to update it to version 3.3.0p3, the installation does not update the database.
This means that the services are configured with the new options but the database does not change, and it has caused the Postfix service to stop working because it cannot find the local_delivery column in the mail_domain table.
When I run the command `php -q update.php`, it always tells me that the SQL patch it is going to execute is...

we have a standalone ispconfig on an old debian 8.2 . the server had a disk full problem, then resolved and rebooted. after that no way to login to ispconfig gui. it always come back to login page. we changed browser, computer, cleared cache, changed password in db, but still nothing. any help?

I have been installing sites on a new iISPConfig server. It has been installing Letsencrypt certs ok. I came to add another site. No cert issued. The 'Add Website' checkboxes had been unchecked. I attempted to diagnose the issue by:

Re-submitting the Add Website checkboxed many times
Checking the website was accessible by a remote server
Creating another website - same result
Rebooting server
Checking /var/log/ispconfig/acme.log

I was expecting the log to show...

Serveral outgoing mails from one customer are blocked due to high spam score. For a quick solution I want to config the customers domain, so that outgoing mails have no spam check and are always sent.
I can't find any option in the GUI for this type of setup? Isn't this possible anyway?
I am using rspamd (multiserver setup with one separate mailserver using setup-script).

Hi,
when I try to add a new server to a multi-server setup using the script, it:

creates local DB, etc.
creates new user in master DB
always stops reporting lost connection to server. Connection is still ok, the problem is only when it performs the " Adding PHP version(s) to ISPConfig" step.

I don't know how to solve. Tried to rollback server's snapshot and try again, but I've same experience. It creates a new user in master DB, then hangs with same error:...

A client has its website since about 15 years, simple website html only, no PHP etc.
chrooted shell userer, he accessed his website via WINSCP and ssh key pair.
latest WINSCP 6.6 does not accept the key any more.
What to do?

I have follow this howto https://www.howtoforge.com/replacing-amavisd-with-rspamd-in-ispconfig/ and I have installed successfully rspamd with valkey (https://valkey.io/topics/migration/) on Rocky Linux 10.1 and disable amavisd (not remove it)
Seem all work fine.
NOTE: I have use valkey because redis is dead because of License change (non OpenSource) and on RHEL 10.x there is removed (https://forums.almalinux.org/t/installation-redis-on-almalinux-10/6576/3).

I use ISPC3 on my servera and lately i upgraded to newest version (3.1.1). Seemd to be ok but same time I needed to add new server to my structure. Never was a problem but this time installation went ok but i cant add any e-mail user. I investigated logs and it seems that in ISPC database is missing (not needed anymore)
table: mail_user / filed: disble_replicator (3.1.1) - no field
I added this field manually and it worked but maby I missed sth during install/upgrade?

Hello!

I have a question about upgrading Ubuntu 220.4 to 24.04.

I'm currently running ISPConfig version 3.3.1.

Do I need to do anything special, or can I simply upgrade Ubuntu and then run `sudo ispcp_update.sh --force` without SSL, or is that unnecessary since ISPConfig has been running the latest version for a few days?

My plan is to run `sudo apt update && sudo apt full-upgrade -y`, followed by `sudo reboot` and `sudo do-release-upgrade`.
