Hi guys. I'm setting up a virtual hosting farm and frequently changing domain setup. My problem is our DNS slave and it's named.conf file. How can I auto-update the slave-servers named.conf file with the appropriate zone-entries? I found a software called autodns and some perl-scripts. Is there a more elegant way to automatically sync the slave server? We have Plesk installed on the master server and my client want's everything to be done "with a mouse" TIA: Johannes
Not solved :=) Yes, a nice and very comprehensive info about DNS service. BUT, I cannot find any information regarding my real problem! So I state again When we create a NEW domain on our primary server, I have to manually add the slave named.conf entry on our secondary server. How can this be done automatically?
