    Hi guys.
    I'm setting up a virtual hosting farm and frequently changing domain setup. My problem is our DNS slave and it's named.conf file. How can I auto-update the slave-servers named.conf file with the appropriate zone-entries? I found a software called autodns and some perl-scripts. Is there a more elegant way to automatically sync the slave server? We have Plesk installed on the master server and my client want's everything to be done "with a mouse" ;)

    TIA: Johannes

    Not solved :=)

    Yes, a nice and very comprehensive info about DNS service. BUT, I cannot find any information regarding my real problem! So I state again :)
    When we create a NEW domain on our primary server, I have to manually add the slave named.conf entry on our secondary server. How can this be done automatically?

    You could write some script for it. Otherwise, you'd have to do it manually.
