    Dear all,
I'm a new user of ISPConfig which I find great, but i have some configuration issues

    my setup :
    2 servers : srv1, srv2, backup.
srv1 and srv2 are hosting websites, emails, DNS, mysql, ...
backup is for putting backup through FTP, be SMTP relay.

Also, srv1 is my primary DNS (I have undreds of domain names to migrate there), and i want srv2 and backup to be secondary DNS.
But to stay completely independant with Webservers and emails. (and PHP versions, as i have 5.6, 7.3 and 7.4)

Is there any way ton configure ISPConfig to have secondary DNS automatically on srv2 and backup ?
and keep them individual for the other parts as websites and emails ?

    thanks & regards
    Vincent

ISPConfig supports having a two DNS servers. Or three. Consult ISPConfig manual. And the link in my signature about DNS.
This question I do not understand. You can have DNS on separate server or on the same server as web and e-mails, if that is what you are wondering.

    Thanks,
    in fact to resume :
    Srv1 :
    - websites & mariadb
    - emails independent + relay for emails on srv2
    - Primary DNS

    Srv2 :
    - websites & mariadb (not the same as srv1)
    - emails independent + relay for srv1
    - Secondary DNS

I will check right now the links you provided
    regards

After reading the documentation, it seems ISPConfig does not support the configuration I want to make.
As i do not have multiple IPs, I can't use virtual.

So it seems I'm stuck in my configuration with ISPConfig.

I don't understand this, do you mean you don't have enough public ip's to run 2 servers? or you don't have multiple ip's on each server?
because you can run the web, MySQL, email and dns services with a single ip on each server.

well I finaly checked all the documentation, and my config is working.

I can add primary (using template) DNS to srv1, and secondary zone to srv2.
i decided to use backup as replication of srv2 for the DNS configuration, so i'm not using ISPConfig to manage dns on backup.

everything seems to work fine (except DNSSEC but i will have a look later)
