thanks for your time. i setup a perfect ubuntu 6.06 server for ispconfig everything works except sending emails from drupal. webmail works fine sending and recieving. here is the mail.log entry when i send an email from drupal when i dig mx server1.fractalgroups.com i get no answer. can someone throw me a bone? I have spent many hours searching for an answer.... thanks ryan.
This is not a MX problem, the problem is that there exists no DNS A-Record for server1.fractalgroups.com. Please add a A-Record for server1.fractalgroups.com at the authoritive nameserver for fractalgroups.com.
hmmm thanks for your help when I try to add a co-domain for server1.fractalgroups.com it gives me the error message: So I manually added an A record in pri.fractalgroups.com Now Drupal email works. SOLVED. Is this the "correct" solution?
