    Hi all,
Just a quick question from a new Linux user. I've been trying to familiarize myself with terminals and some of the basic commands. An issue I've been having is that when I work with "ls" and ls-type commands, sometimes I get such a long list of files and directories. I am not able to scroll back up to see previous commands or even the beginning of whatever long list I have displayed. I am using Fedora through VirtualBox (TTY3/TTY5.) I've seen tips such as using shift + arrows, but none of them seem to work.

    Thanks for any replies!
