    Hi Till / Falko,

We have an ISPConfig3 cluster still based on Debian 7 (Wheezy) and we like to keep it that way for a while.
ISPConfig master server = Apache server with Apache 2.2
    slave 1 = Mailserver
    slave 2 = Databaseserver

Now we want to add a 2nd Apache server with Debian 8 as OS.
I know Debian 8 is coming with apache 2.4.
Is this possible or do we need to upgrade our whole cluster to Debian 8 (Jessie) first?

    Kind regards,

    Hans

    Hello Hans,

thats not a problem, you can mix different OS versions and even different OS in a cluster. Just ensure that all nodes run the same ISPConfig version.

    Hi Till,
Thank you for your quick reply! I'm happy to read that. ISPConfig is great! Our new Debian 8 server will join our cluster soon then.
    Kind regards,
    Hans
