Hi there, i've a problem on one of my ispconfig server. The problem is the amavisd is closing, and i can't find the reason. Here is the log, if someone can help me. This heappen only sometimes, not for any mail. The log is in attachment.
I had similar issues on a server that uses openvz when some limits of the vm got reached. in Openvz, you can see all limits and if they got hit in the past with "cat /proc/user_beancounters". I havent used linode yet, so not sure if thatc ommand works there as ell or if they privide a different option to see if the software in your vm hit any limits. You should consider to install munin and monit to monitor your server and restart amavi in case it fails.
Hi Till, Linode is based on Xen Server, but may be the problem is the same. For now i've fixed exactly with munin and monit, to avoid problems. I'll try to contact the supporto to check if they had similar problems. Thank you
